i love that Emahoy's recordings are getting out there. something so comforting about that piano sound, not to mention her voice...

at the church i went to as a kid there was this lower level room that had a little old upright piano. i would sneak down there sometimes by myself and tinker. i didn't really know what i was doing, but playing it seemed to stop time. the sound of these Emahoy recordings takes me back there. it feels safer with her there

Listened to Reign In Blood on the way to work today. It gets the body moving. What a diabolical masterpiece.

That album is 75% Dave Lombardo to me. I could listen to that guy play drums all day long.

Sometimes I get a weird little song part in my head and I can’t figure out where it’s from. It’s often from this album, which has a million different song parts. Great album for confusing a cat.
