I think some people here have be advocating using violence in self defence. IMO this is more than fine, the right should not think they have a monopoly on violence. But there is a massive difference between giving a chud a good whipping in self defence and going out to actively cause violence as a political tool.

There is a grey zone, when does "the best defence become a good offence". But even so, that to me would be something like beating a fascist hipster that thought their <insert here> privilege would protect them from opening their trap or hold up some shitty sign to Own the Libs.

Watching Trump talk about Ukraine was cringe. He's clueless and deliberately wrong at the same time. He's gaslighting everyone on it, republicans and democrats. It's amazing to see how quickly all the republicans throw out their principles if they don't align with Trump. He even said he didn't know if China was in the BRICS and that they BRICS somehow recently just fell apart. Dude is so out of the loop and winging it just like last time, but no adults are in the room this time around.

Canada just kicked into gear policies to remove their dependence on the US and become an alternative hub to America. It's astonishing to watch our allies abandon us. Maybe you could call Trump a genius for breaking the post-war alliances and doing so so easily. I'm not entirely sure how that works in our favor, though.

At least, when the US Empire is officially fallen, it'll be with Trump at the helm. He's certainly accelerating it. That's the only positive I can imagine coming out of this.

They are fairly small things that have huge impact on the poor. It's now much harder to study a new vocation if you're an adult. Also it's harder to work if you are unemployed. Some people here, in this thread, believe that self defense should be a proactive thing. Some version of Stand Your Ground, but instead of setting up a kill-zone in their front yard, they want to set fire to shit, because they feel they're politically justified to do so.

Violence is the tool of the oppressor class.
