Due to epic delays with Lundahl transformers and the resulting backlog of builds, my G9 took a little while but arrived two days ago? Need to sort some stuff out before I can organise a recording space in our new place, but getting there….

couple of days ago there was a Tech21 300 watt bass power amp for sale locally, 100 bucks shipped. thought this will make a nice bass amp with my Traynor TS 50B preamp! sounds great and is only 10kg.

I've also debated getting this pink one or the surf green and popping a jazzmaster neck pickup in it. They only thing holding me back is wishing it had the Classic Vibe 50s neck on it. I like some chunk.

Yeah me too, I figure I can switch out the neck for not *too* much extra if I hate it.

From memory, the neck is pretty standard Fender size, it's not super thin like an Ibanez or something, felt comfy.

Those of you who like a chunky neck, the Mascis Jazzmaster is for you!

Analogue Addicts 2 chan Pultec style EQ. Fully transformer balanced in/out, passive EQ stage and then a 2 chan valve gain stage similar to the REDD47’s. Switchable to a stand-alone 2 chan valve mic pre with vintage Sowter mic transformers.
