Trump referenced the golden age of American economic dominance, he literally suggested it was the gilded age. You can't make this shit up. It's not even a media bubble thing, he literally referenced the years 1879-1913 as being America's best economic years where we were the strongest and had the most influence. So, when he says Make America Great Again, he was referring to the gilded age. Also, not an era most historians would argue is when America had world dominance.
