Where in the Cotswolds?
Lovely Evesham. Just gotta be careful with the drive-by shootings and gang wars.
Ah.
I'm from the Cotswolds, but not that part. Still, apparently
cider is good for you now so at least there's that...

This, darling, is the so so wrong.
I'd sooner sup on the menstrual blood of a homeless crack-whore.

How could a place with such a darling name as The Costwalds have gang violence?
It just isn't right.
Detail from my day: being woken up by the man repairing the side of my building banging into my window, waking me up, causing me to scream in surprise because I saw a strange man outside my third-floor window.
I'm okay now.
If anybody who is going to T&G is passing through NYC this weekend, PM me so I can take you to Coney Island or something. Not exactly bowling, but buper cars! DISCO bumper cars. Awww, yeah.

For one thing, one of my best mates has moved from around the corner to fourty miles away. It's not that far but it's not here. This is a town of many acquaintances and few friends. Now there's one less. Good luck in Newcastle Mr Earwicker.
Secondly, I have been planning through the summer to begin a Teaching English to Non-Speakers course. Yesterday I was informed by the tutor that the course isn't going to be running anymore due to lack of funding. It was already going to be a twenty mile race after work to get to the only college in the area that does this course on an evening; the college down the road from me does it but in the daytime, which is useless to me as I work full time. Now the nearest place is too far away to get to.
SO!
A new plan. Forget about the course. My contract is up at work at the end of December. So I'm going to spend the autumn applying for jobs in other places. I'm getting out of Boro. I'm not tied here anymore now I've got my health back. I think I might end up back in London. I've been talking to my friend Gill down there and I'm getting the feeling that that's where I'm heading. I spent three years there as a philosophy student, then another three involved in political direct action. The last three months I was there I was a total fuck up, which is why I got out. I've done a lot of work on myself since then. It'd be nice to go back a new person. It still feels like a home to me.
But then again, maybe I'll go somewhere else. I don't know, maybe Brighton would be nice.
But anyway. It's Autumn. I love Autumn. I love it so much that I capitalise it, as I do all the seasons. Why don't seasons get capitals? They have proper names. It's Autumn, and I have a new plan. I'm a gittin' outta here.

Unfortunately, following Autumn we have Winter. A miserable fucking time in Scotland. I am leaving though.
Do you still not fancy doing the teaching English as a foreign language? Was it TEFL or TESOL? Many of my close friends and family have done this. My sister did it for a while and is now an English teacher which is good.
