I'm on an Eberhard Weber/Jon Christensen/Palle Danielsson/Jan Garbarek jag, so I've had YouTube clips on of them playing with various others like Ralph Towner and Keith Jarrett.

Also file under 'Little Details from Your Day'.

I have attempted to order a particular vinyl record online twice now. The first time, they sent me the wrong album and I returned it. The second time, they sent me the wrong album again - in this case, they sent me David Gilmour's latest album Luck and Strange.

I decided that I wasn't intended to get the album that I wanted and instead decided to open and listen to Luck and Strange.

The best thing I can say about it is that it's okay background music.

One of the main progressions in the title track sounds like it was taken from the middle section of "Dogs".

At one point I found myself paying attention to the lyrics and decided to stop doing so immediately.

The new remaster of Manic Street Preachers, This is My Truth Tell Me Yours on vinyl.

I fucking love this album. A lot of “feels” and the recording is beautiful.

South Yorkshire Mass Murderer is the most brutal, gentle songs ever written imo. If you know what is about…

The US needs something like this about ICE.

Put on Daniel Lanois' For the Beauty of Wynona for the first time in maybe ten years. Some great songs - The Collection of Marie Claire is incredible - but it's not grabbing me overall like it did when I first heard it.

Mark Helias, Gerry Hemingway and Ray Anderson on a bit of a more straight-ahead, at times N.O. tip, a nice listen on this lazy Friday afternoon.
