This weekend I logged back into Facebook after taking a month break. Yesterday, I commented on a friend's recent trouble with raccoons invading her home by stating that she should cut off their hands, pull out their teeth, and charge them rent because they are cute to observe, and today they banned me.

After having traveled to visit family, in part to assist with/provide signatures on some documents to do with my parents' (both are still living) estate, we were told that a crucial piece was "not notary-ready", after their having had it drawn up by an attorney. It will not be able to be remade before I have to return home. Kinda aggravating.

I got to see Penn and Teller for the first time, though.

I was unaware, prior to today, that the city of San Francisco, CA prohibits official business with 28 states due to those states' laws. I found out because a work colleague, based in NC, sent a "reply to all" e-mail declaring that he feels like he must reciprocate and refuses to travel to San Francisco.

Anyway, the memorandum from SF is an interesting read. I am guessing we're going to see more of these in the states.
