One micro-sector of the economy that is currently booming is news photographers with stock shots of "white trader guy looks into monitor with worried face, holding his head." Good week for those folks.
I laughed, thank you.

I saw this and had to look this up to see if was true and there's tons of articles on this: Trump's tariffs also target places where there are no exports, because there are no people.

no, that's definitely not it either. i don't live in a bubble so when someone takes ivermectin i don't assume he listens to joe rogan.
why should i subject myself to your scrutiny when i've been called
misleading yet predictable
longwinded yet terse
incoherent yet simple
billy joel AND billy corgan
why should i put myself in a box when i never did the same to you?
and what would it solve anyway?
I did not call you Billy Corgan; I called you Billy Corgan's homunculus, implying that he grew you in a vat using alchemy.

This is a basic disconnect about how people discuss complicated or important things. Notice how I've never called you names or mocked you? If we discuss an issue and you don't get where I'm coming from, I might say something to explain my M.O. such as:
I believe the government has the power and responsibility to solve problems private industry will not solve.
By your lead that's somehow pigeonholing myself. You can post a dreamy meme postcard with Dylan's most taoist take and I might high five you over a spliff on a camping trip about that, but here in the politics thread we're talking politics. Radical relativism is fundamentally apolitical.

i guess i'm just not political then. not in any simplistic declarative fashion. and not when it is used to other sick texans who resort to using horse dewormer on themselves.
