I guess some sort of
livestream went off the rails
I’m surprised he exposed himself to anything but true believers, but I’m betting that won’t be happening again.
That was really sad.
Still, fuck him.

Even has the correct hair for power electronics. I feel nothing for him; he's completely devoid of empathy.

So it was all a rug pull.
Honestly I don’t understand why the US president is allowed so much executive power. Why even have a congress or senate?

It was, is, and always will be just larceny on a massive scale. All they care about is gaming the system and maintaining power so that they can steal.

This is behind a pay wall (check Reddit), but it's a chilling article. Hugenberg was basically Rupert Murdoch and Elon Musk rolled into one.

The other parts of government are all complicit as well and I think that Sanders was more of a red line than Trump ever was. Otherwise the latter would have never gotten elected in the first place.
I’m imagining if FDR - who the ruling class thought more dangerous than Adolf fucking Hitler - had that sort of unchecked executive power throughout the New Deal and WWII and the onset of the Cold War before his death. We would living on a very different planet.
Of course it would never work out that way on that side of the political spectrum. If we did happen to elect another slightly socially democratic leaning president, they would find all those same avenues that Trump and others use immediately closed.
This system is totally beyond rehabilitation, and I don’t know if anything - other than disaster on a historical scale or something like China gaining a significant advantage over a multipolar world - could change it for the better at this point.
