El Michels Affair featuring Raekwon - The PJs... from Afar (got an advance copy of this EP from Truth & Soul along with the 7" and 12" i ordered).
i'm not a huge hip-hop enthusiast, Wu-Tang fan, but this is pretty good stuff, especially given that it was tracked live and all.
maybe a proper album is in order.

i don't think i've ever heard this record, but based on the album art alone it looks like the kinda recording that'd be conducive to having a big, long, self-pitying wank.

It is definitely a 3 AM, home from drinking kinda record.
It's the first record he made with Nelson Riddle doing the orchestration, IIRC.
It's a superb breakup record as well.

never heard much Andy Williams though i'm very fond of "Can't Get Used To Losing You", one of the few great songs that came on the radio station i had to listen to at my last job.
