I do not like to use the word fag.
I will use it when i say art-fag.
This is used only for pretentious art students and all of the silly ego-driven things they do.
This is not a general term for art students.
that said:
Art fags= crap but fun to make fun of.
Art students= fine by me. Sometimes wonderful people.

I quit being an art student to become a music tech student. I'll work out which course I was the most pretentious on and get back to this thread.

I have a hunch that I'll come back and say "I was worse as an art student", but I can't vote crap on this because in my experience, art students only spout a ton of bullshit because they're looking for validation. Sorta like teenage kids.

That said, if the art student is from money, I gotta vote crap.

One of my buddies enrolled in art school back in the day. Finished it, and went on to study his second love, mathematics. He now does neurological brain-mapping whatever research at some fancy pants science faculty. Prides himself on never having held a regular job for a single day in his entire life. Says his nervous system couldn't take it, but my guess is it's because he is REALLY FUCKING SMART.

He wears funny hats, too.

didn't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers about the Uppity Art Fag thing, if i did. it was written on a bathroom stall about a friend and we thought it was dumb/funny. i didn't mean that all art school people are art fags

I had a friend who went to the Kansas City Art Institute. He said everybody was precious and that there work sucked and that it was all bullshit.

I dunno...art. fuggit.

Unless you're drawing nice and practical things like turtles and pirates and whatnot.
