I was all geared up to vote crap as I hadn't heard the song since the 80s and all memories of anything by Boz Scaggs end in me throwing up.

However, after watching this video many times, Lido Shuffle gets a second chance. I thing the drumming holds it all together.

In this long forgotten thread, I would still vote crap.

I hadn't heard this song before coming across this thread, and I investigated the studio version after hearing the live version posted on page one. The studio version doesn't do anything for me.

But I've listened to that live version on YouTube about a dozen times in the past week or two, and fuck me if I don't love it, back-up vocals, brass, and everything.

That live band is chock full of heavy "cats".

Any major dude will tell ya.
