I'll second that. They're like a cross between any game with "tactics" in the name, and any RTS game. So much fun. I played in link mode exactly one time. I was at an airport and some ten-year-old came up and looked over my shoulder, saw what I was playing, and asked if I wanted to play a linked game. I said sure, because I'm always up for a multiplayer game of anything, and he proceeded to completely mop the floor with me. So much fun.
Why do you make it so scary to post here.

I bought this game for $2 at a Gamestop a year or two ago and have never even opened it. It did't look like the sort of game I usually get into, but for being that cheap I couldn't pass it up. I will now have to finally check this game out and see what all the fuss is.

I don't remember any speaking in Metroid, though.

the aliens speak in the metroid prime games and i have to say, it's really well done and cool sounding. also, in the most recent one the benevolent aliens have to teach you parts of their language before you can translate and interact with certain objects in the playing field. this is actually much more involved than the laguage barrier in ico. in fact, you could say that in general about the two games but i still think ico is the better one as it's a much more unique and tasteful in many ways. it's also way shorter hence less of a time suck.

fuck, i'm a nerd.

Solum dude, I'm going to kill your face at Warioware when I get back to Scotland.

Seriously, this might be the first game ever where I can take you on on equal terms.

Warioware:touched is pretty good, but not as much fun as the original. Seems a but laboured at times. I just got a DS and it's really cutting into my smoking/drinking/writing time. Mario64 DS is totally brilliant, Zookeeper is fun.

Metroid in 1 month, Animal Crossing DS in 4 months, not to mention Advance Wars, Mario Kart, Final Fantasy, Zelda. There's never been a better time to be a massive geek.

So a level 40 summoner not crap for video games. especially when you live in a busted arse minnow of a town where the only other constructive uses for your evenings are talking to student nurses about spit-roasts, and who's got the best arse in the residences.

1UP!

I am now playing this game. Rather I am trying to play it, because I haven't the faintest idea what I'm supposed to be doing. My roommate seems to have done away with the booklet, see, and in terms of helpful intros this game has none. There is also no tutorial-style introductory level to speak of. I actually do like this, because it's stretching me more than the usual game, but I wish I had some idea what was going on. Maybe I am just dumb. We shall see.
