Yeah, getting that was a big deal to me. I was 14 years old, I think. I'd heard Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle, Wire, Neubauten, Loop... but the big find on there for me was Swell Maps, who became a huge influence on me as time went on. I saw and talked to Nikki Sudden a few weeks before his death. He didn't seem like he was doing heroin on that particular night, at least. But what the fuck do I know? Also, that comp got me interested in Dome and further into Wire. And Can. And Fad Gadget. Fuck, I'm still glad I got the thing. I listen to it, still. Even though I've got most of the albums the tracks were taken from...
