ha, this is where I am right now.

I saw "the corner" back when it first aired. I want to see it again now.

I just burned through the first two discs and have to drop them back in the mail for netflix to send me my fix. all i have left is the shield, which all of a sudden pales.

the shield seems to have hit their stride about 1 full season in, whereas I was riveted from the start on the wire.

Fuck yeah I was hoping that was the case. It is going right to the top of my XMas list. Season 5 is going to force me to begin paying the cable mafia again which fucking sucks. Best. Show. On. Television. Ever.

At first, I hated the intro song, but after a few times and watching the commentary where simon talks about it, I fucking love it and listen to it over and over. little did I realize that I had heard it before plenty from tom waits himself. at work, all I listen to is silkworm and this song.
