In re Bobby's hit: I thought it was standard protocol to drop the gun after the hit. I want to say I've seen them do this a number of times. The idea being that it's worse to have the actual weapon on you. I do not recall them wearing gloves when this happens either.
Example: Though not after a hit, Tony takes no care to discard his weapon in place it wouldn't be found after fleeing Johnny Sack's arrest.
But yes, Bobby fucked up.

He dropped the gun (with his PRINTS ALL OVER IT) after he killed that guy in the laundry room, and the dead guy's got a chunk of Bobby's shirt in his hand (probably with Bobby's chest hairs / DNA all over it).
Bobby ain't gonna be runnin' shit... Bobby's goin' to JAIL, or getting whacked by Tony's crew for fuckin' up so bad.
I'd be surprised if they went down that road only to never re-examine it, but I think it'll go down more like now that Bobby's got his hands dirty, he'll either totally lose it mentally, or he'll become a stone-cold execution machine. Maybe Tony'll make him kill Butchy, or some other NY guy. No way he gets to Tony again, though. And I don't think Tony kills him yet, not if he can still get something out of him.

53I didn't even notice the bullet in the dryer. What's great about these shows is that they're so well crafted that a bunch of dudes on the 'Net can notice 10 different things in any given scene that were intentionally put into the scene. Such a well-crafted show.
Fuck it, let's just storm HBO headquarters and demand the tapes for the rest of the season and all have a slumber party or something...

But the gun doesn't have prints. He was wearing gloves and he was supposed to drop it at the scene. As anyone who's seen The Godfather knows, a witness will notice a man leaving the scene with a gun in his hand.
wasn't that in Canada??? I would think it would be really hard to get Cananda and American athoritys to work together, plus Bobbys DNA probally is not registered in Canada, this seems off, however I think Bobby is a real softy, and will have huge mental problems or turn into the hachet man...

55Do we have any EA operatives in Vegas? We need reports.
I hope it doesn't go to shit and move to Nevada GF2-style. But for the flashbacks and the Cuba stuff, that movie was a let down for me.

It was. But I'd bet it's probably one of the easier coutries to work with when it comes to something like OC. Not like Columbia or Brazil or even Mexico (Dog the Bounty Hunder v. Andrew Luster?) You'd think the FBI would be jumping up and down to run stuff through their database for another country (especially one so nearby mob activity) in order to catch criminals that operate mainly in the US.
That said, the RCMP/FBI would have to have Bobby's DNA on file and/or have some reason (witness, tail, etc.) to suspect it was Bobby and get a sample to compare to chest hairs or whatever.
My money's on Bobby being in the clear.

57Good fucking God I hope there's a reason for us to give a fuck about Vito Jr. Vito Sr. was one of the reasons the last season (yes last season, I don't buy this extended season bullshit) sucked.

Canada and the U.S. exchange conviction information electronically. I know, because my brother can not get a permit to go on a canoe trip into Quetico because because of a conviction from 20+ years ago. It's really stupid.

Uncle Junior is impotent and incontinent, waiting for death.
Phil is impotent, rendered so by fatigue.
Vito Sr. broke the cardinal macho rule and died whimpering.
Vito Jr. is impotent within the context of the macho world in which he exists because of his effeminate appearance and weird behavior.
A.J. was whipped and is now dumped. Emasculation.
I'm starting to see the theme of these episodes. The world of machismo and brute male power that their entire existence depends upon is eroding and crumbling. I don't think it was unintended irony that dumbass Little Carmine is the first to realize this and begin getting out from under the collapsing facade.

Very interesting point.
The rest of this season needs to just turn into the last 20 minutes of Casino over and over.
