Ten Perfect Albums

Today's list:
The Flaming Lips - In a Priest Driven Ambulance With Silver Sunshine Stares
My staple. Noisepop perfection. Grins from ear to ear. So loud! So glorious! Yum.
Cows - Effete and Impudent Snobs
I had difficulty picking out my favorite Cows release. "Preyed On" nailed it.
Unrest - Imperial f.f.r.r
My friend Nick will think of me as a hypocrite because I'm always raving about Perfect Teeth's "Cath Carroll" and "Make Out Club," but Imperial f.f.r.r is more solid. Shh.
Slayer - Reign in Blood
A good friend of mine says that I tend to confuse nostalgia with brilliance when it comes to me picking favorite albums. Fuck him! This album was great for it's time, and it's great on it's own.
Spacemen 3 - Playing With Fire
Druggy and beautiful. Never tire of listening to it. Never.
Tar - Jackson
Dense and brutal. I really appreciate the subtle rhythmic shifts in tempo. Mike Greenlees is an awesome drummer. Fucking solid.
Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love
No ironic appreciation here. Glammy, dumb, total rock. Fun and awesome.
Einsturzende Neubauten - 1/2 Mensch
The album that turned me on to so much. Avant-garde, noisy, industrial chaos.
Crass - Penis Envy
Really difficult to pick a Crass album. I'm probably full of shit, but more than the Clash, Crass was much more than a punk band. Whatever. This album rules.
Front 242 - Tyranny (For You)
Relentless.
