Seconded. Except for maybe the occasional episode of the Girls Next Door.

Just a guess, but i'm betting it involves asbestos.
Asbestos?!? You mean that for all these years, I've been boozing, smoking cigarettes and consuming large quantities of illegal drugs in an environment that could give me cancer?
Apparently not any more (although a local could maybe correct me), but there apparently was asbestos there for years, and the owner didn't tell anyone, even the employees. You hadn't heard that story? Wow, i thought that was common knowledge at this point.
I heard about this. Keep it in mind if you ever contract lung cancer or mesothelioma, especially if you have never smoked.

Starfucks
Wal-Mart
Fox
Fast Food
American Apparel
Movie Theaters
Funeral Homes
CVS
and any other huge corporation trying to take over the entire market share I'm naturally against(damn I know I missed a bunch.)
On a more petty note, I'm also against fusion restaurants. Naturally Fusion is not a traditional region specific food option(Italian, French,Thai, etc, etc.) Therefore, the amount of pretentious bullshit at these restaurants is staggering, as well as the prices. A friend of mine who is a chef put it nicely, "They(fusion) have nothing to promote so they have to be as pretentious as possible to make you believe that actually are buying into something special."
Speaking of food, I also boycott anything too foo-foo across the board. I'll choose a Deli as an example:
If I want a deli sandwich I want cheese, bread, meat, and vegies. I do not want my options at said Deli style restaurant to include things like: vinaigrette reduction sauce, wasabi mayonnaise, chipolte tomato infused tortilla wraps, sun-dried tomato pesto spread, cilantro hummus, etc, etc. I find that not only are the sandwiches small and overpriced at these establishments, but the clientele makes me want to go postal. If I do go into one of the restaurants by mistake, I better be in a foreign country where I don't understand the native language. Here in the states, god help you if you happen to overhear a conversation in one of these places. The stupidity is mindblowing, you'll be fucked for the rest of the week trying to get it out of your mind.
I'm not done by a long shot here on this thread, I just need to regroup. I'll leave you with the wise words of Frank Costanza: "I've gotta lot of problems with you people and now your going to hear about them."
EDIT: asbestos at the bottle?!?!?! Never heard about this. When was it removed!!

Ty Webb wrote:Out of curiosity, is the objection to American Apparel over their marketing and/or the creepiness of Charney?
I ask because the opinions of socially conscious people toward AA tend to vary quite a lot. Charney's a sleazy character in a lot of ways, but he does plenty of things right too.

Almost all television stations and programs (don't own one, can't stand watching the garbage they put on--unless it's a baseball game or a cooking show).
Anything on the radio that is not NPR or local college stations. Although I do tune in to the Christian evangelists once in a while because I get a kick out of them.
McDonalds' and Burger King and Wendy's (just because the food is horrible).
Wal-Mart (because they treat their workers like shit).
Anything related to Disney or Universal Studios (I live in Orlando). Just because it's all so fucking annoying.
Big movie theaters like AMC, etc. Just because 99 percent of the movies shown are pieces of garbage, and because they charge so much for everything.

You don't suppose that completely ruins my chance of a fat settlement, does it?
