re: med bills. It doesn't sound like they will try to fuck you too bad, but the price they bill is a bullshit number. You should only pay what the insurance companies pay.

e.g. a year ago I had a check up with blood work for chloresterol etc. and there was a error with the coverage. the doctor's office sent a $1500 bill for blood work. after it got straightened out, the insurance company ended up paying only $150.

Are there some other things you can do, apart from keeping It dry? Using a topic cream or antibiotics?

Man that sucks. Take care of the hand, and try to get some pain killers before you're shows. I broke the first knuckle on my right hand once and couldn't play guitar right for a while after. But that was a broken knuckle, I'm guessing you'll get back into it faster, once the pain's gone. Anyway, good luck, fuck the insurance industry.

Did anyone ever hear Penn's (from Penn and Teller) story about how he burned his penis on a hair dryer that was left on for like 30 minutes? Its like the most ridiculous thing you'll ever hear. He said it smelled like cooked steak, and he actually had to use a utensil to pull it off, much like meat cooking on a very hot grill.
