It was a, how you say, joke?

Their having ProTools at Electrical doesn't really mean anything even remotely negative, or sad, or even relevant to anything at all other than the fact that they can now more readily cater to the needs of some of their clients without borrowing a computer from somebody. Big deal?

I'm not angry at Steve, or Electrical, and anybody who is, well they's kind of an r-tard. It's like, what, Steve is gonna wake up tomorrow and think that digital recording is the way to go?

I was making a joke, acting like I'm so sad or so mad. It's called comedy of the absurd. I'm a master of it, though I'm apparently never actually funny to anybody but myself. Zut alors!

so your comments directed at me means you're in agreement?

then i'm sorry about what i said.

I'm sorry that you said that too, they have this one song that I really like. I forget the name of the song, but its either Some Soul Ether or Kitten and Mountain---its the one of those that doesn't sound like This Heat.

i'm honestly not worried about what i said.

he who harbors grudges over what is said upon the interweb is a complete fucking moron.

in reality, i'm a nice guy until you ask an honest opinion. then i will give it to you. but since when is honesty not nice?

when it's not what you want to hear.

Hey DrAwk, how ya like them apples? Somehow the thread about ProTools at EA has morphed into a thread about my band. Yippeeee!!

I'm conflicted now. Excited cause we're talking about my band... sad cause EA went all-digital... I guess what I really need now is a good place to go and sit and have a good crank.

Dear God, please let Steve catch that one.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, digital is just another option. I figure if I have money saved up, and want to record in a professional studio, I would like to be recorded on something other than the standard crop of pro tools like software. I can record digitally on my own, but a I'd like tried and true equipment in a studio setting.

It's been done to death five times over. The ProTools thread linked earlier in this thread has everything intelligent anybody's gonna say for the pro or con sides of either format, and plenty of other comments too.

This one has other comments only, so the balance is kept and the universe is saved.
