Point, set and match.
Why, thank you.

Well, as long as you can admit that.

I know, I know. Seriously, though, does Al have his hand down your pants or something?

It will be very exciting to watch avery annoy crosby. roberts will try to step in and will receive a beating. I should probably be rooting for the pens, since the flyers match up better against them, but I just don't like crosby.

my gut says that colorado beats the red wings. With all the talent the red wings have, the one thing that won them their championships was a very good 4th line. I don't think they have that anymore.

It should probably be a 7 game series.

SJ and Dallas should be another tough series. I don't really have a feel of who will win. seems like it could go either way.

flyers vs. montreal... despite being a flyers fan, they barely made it past washington. perhaps they played well against a hot washington team, but the series really could've gone either way and it seemed like washington carried the play throughout the series. backstrom looked like forsberg jr. out there. washington's 4th line almost won the series for them. If they can get another line to score and maybe a bruiser d-man, they are in a better position for dynasty than pittsburgh.

montreal's skill will give the flyers fits. unless the flyers forwards can improve their checking, it will be a very short series.

Yeah, I don't know. Wings still haven't done shit in the post-lockout playoffs, but they straight pushed the Avs around this year, just embarrassed them. Ryan Smyth is getting born as we speak and Théodore nailed it the last two games against MN, so who knows. Man, it's ten years ago all over again, especially with Forsberg. Despite his Game 1 beauty, he's no longer a goal-scoring threat, but that guy hated the Wings more than anybody. Different faces, blah, blah, blah, it's still gonna be good.

Speaking of ten years ago...

Who's gonna beat him up? Avery? That's not his style. He likes to agitate, then run away. No wonder a Flyers fan finds him exciting. *Hangs up Devils Jersey for the year*

Seriously. Gary Roberts - even as old as he is - would beat Sean Avery like a rented mule. Colton Orr on the other hand could handle Roberts easily, but the only way he'll dress for this series is if Georges Laraque beats a Ranger to a pulp in games one or two.

All that said, fighting largely goes by the wayside in the playoffs and agitators like Avery play a bigger role than they do in the regular season.

Dude, you are a joke of a fan if you think the flyers of today are goons. The downie hit was questionable. How come no hatred for colby armstrong? Avery can fight. If it is hits to the head you don't like, then please go shoot scott stevens.

I think the avs will bring out the best of the red wings, who may suffer from gotosleepitis against certain opponents. there's enough of the old guard left there to still have some animosity.
