I just overheard this on Channel 4 in Milwaukee.
Congrats EA, you're beating television news teams to the punch.

Fernando Tatis. 9 years later he's off the 'roids and apparently still knows how to hit. Great game last night, Mets really needed that.

Santo repeatedly trying and eventually giving up on saying "Kosuke" last night was hilarious. He went with "Fukudome" after a brief interjection from Pat, which I imagine was intended to allow Ron to gather himself.

I wish I knew where there might be a recording of that, likewise video of Quentin's AB the other day where he fouled a ball off the ground and straight into his selfsame nuts.

These Friday pitching match ups look pretty interesting:
A.L.
Cabrera vs. Beckett
Contreras vs. Shields
N.L.
Cook vs. Lilly
Glavine vs. Volquez

That Carlos Quentin foul ball was a touchy subject for Hawk and DJ. DJ kept saying Carlos was hit in his soft underbelly.

WTF is it with Tampa fans? Their team has the best record in the AL, and is loaded with talent, yet they can only draw 10,000? That just ain't right. Move the team to Charlotte or Salt Lake City or Des Plaines. Shit, anywhere can draw more than 10,000 for an MLB franchise.

I have no idea but I am glad they are finally a decent team. I am sure people will start to paying attention soon enough.

I have honestly never been to a game (two hour drive, money, laziness) but have heard the stadium is terrible. The new park looks incredible though.

The team is located in Tampa Bay; old people can't stay awake for nine innings.

The new stadium looks majestic.

They're averaging above 17,000. Which is bad but not 10,000 bad. Of course, it really helps the attendance out when Boston and New York come to town 9-10 times a year.
