I just bought my 3rd Traynor YBA-3 Custom Special yesterday. No tubes, but I got it for $160 which is a total bargain. It could probably use a recap job, considering it's 38 years old...Stoked!

Just picked up an Acoustic 160 Head and 468 (4x12) Cabinet for $400. Switchable between 60W and 100W, two cascading volume controls, switchable FET or Tube preamp, 5-band graphic EQ, four 6L6 tubes in the power section, five ECC83 in the preamp section. Pretty versatile. It breaks up really nice at high volumes. A bit heavy in the low end with everything flat, but there are enough tweaks to make it sound good.
One of the speakers has a slight buzz when you push the bass, but I can live with it.

I just bought my second YBA-1 off CL for $350

Not worth bragging about but it sounds great.

Nice. You get it locally in Canada? Cheapest I ever got a YBA-3 was like $400. But I did once get a 60's YBA-1 (heavily altered circuit and grillecloth) for under $200.

You still got the other two YBA-3's? if so, you might as well sell this one on eBay for about triple what you paid for it.

I got a Sunn Sceptre for 63 bucks.

I also got a 1964 gibson eb0-3 bass for $455.

Yeah, all of them here in Canada. I bought a '67 with pretty beat grillecloth but recently serviced, for $450 & a '72 w/ master volume for $300. I got a YBA 1A for free once, sold it to a friend of a friend for $250, the guy blew the tubes and ended up giving it back to me for nothing about a year later. I spent that $250 to get it recapped and retubed so basically still free.

I can't bear to rid myself of any of them.

I do however really need a YBA 3A for my collection...maybe I'll sell one to raise some cash one day. It's like the holy grail.

I bought a Traynor YBA-1A for $100 shipped a few years ago. I also bought a 68 Fender Dual Showman for $350 (which I think someone beat me on earlier in the thread, but still a good deal), and a Marshall JMP 2203 for $550.

Why did you not just say that was your problem, instead of hinting at "after I looked around the forum and saw some of your posts, I think I will pass". There was no mention of you telling me to fuck off (until 2 days ago), like your acting all big now. I asked simply what you meant by that and you didn't reply for days cause your a fucking bitch. Go ahead email steve you little bitch. I had a stock pic of one because when I got the cab I sent it to ampeg saying I just got one of these cabs and wanted info on it. I simply sent you the wrong pic I had in my folder. I will go and put the days date and take a fucking picture of my v4b cab and would do it with the tele except I dont have it anymore.
