Unwound was terribly hit-or-miss, and boy, were they extreme in that regard..

I saw NoMeansNo when I was 19 and bought one of their Rollins' spoof t's that said "Stay Home, Read A Book" instead if "Search and Destroy" on the screened backpiece.

My mom, a now retired middle school speech teacher, loved the shirt. She wore it to school one day and there were a couple of little jr high skate rats in one of her classes. One of them didn't know who NoMeansNo was, the other kid lost his shit because his well middle aged speech teacher was wearing a NoMeansNo shirt- one that spoofed Rollins no less.

Agreed. I'm still recovering from the one whose tastes were "that one country station" and "that other country station that I didn't know exist on the dial, and plays the same thing as the first country station."

I wish I had a great example of this but all I've got is mild amusement from my mom with regards to Melt Banana.
