Not at all Crap.
Is it cheesy? Yes... It's folk rock... Of course it is.
But damn it's good. So many great songs.
I love the relentless electric guitar on Blessed.
Sounds of silence is amazing... Listen to it on 16 RPM and get REEEEEEEEEEEEEAL fucked up on mushrooms!
That'll make a believer of ya.

Not crap. A slight waffle for "Sounds of Silence" only becoming a hit after the producer overdubbed drums and re-released.

"The Boxer", such a great song, I love the arrangement, the strings and brass are fantastic.

Overall nice harmonies, a few great lyrical moments and economical guitar playing. The songs also add quite a bit to "The Graduate".

and the sad thing is the overdubbed drums and electric guitar etc kind of make the song...(and is probably why none of their others even come close...ah well...)

Such a great song, so many great song ideas in it - it's like listening to a whole album side.

"The Only Living Boy In New York" is even better.
