pearl jam circa 2000 is a great fucking rock band, and yellow ledbetter when played live is a great fucking song.

Daft Punk and Tears For Fears have no place in this thread. The first Daft Punk record is a great house record. Shame it all went to pot after that though.
Supersonic by Oasis. The only time they actually got it right. Otherwise a bunch of cunts. Unfortunately a bunch of cunts that just won't die.
EDIT:
The first half of Rusty Cage by Soundgarden, and a few bits in nothing to say which sort of adds up to a whole decent track. They think they rock so hard but they just don't.

Stone Temple Pilots "Sour Girl." Everything else by them is about as bad as music can get, but this song--in which they try to imitate XTC--is fantastic.
Geri Halliwell's "Bag It Up."
Hall & Oates "She's Gone."
Neil Diamond "Solitary Man" (actually, a fair amount of his 60s stuff gets a pass)

it's a bit odd, but i can't imagine that the band the snack has any good songs besides "my sharona". and even this one is rather catchy than good. but i migght be totally wrong.
and i honestly like pearl jam.

Dianogah was *this* close to covering this song earlier this year with Andrew Bird on vocals and glockenspiel. It would not have been an ironic 80's cover. I love that song. Jay Ryan got cold feet at the last minute.
I would add "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger to this list. I like that song. I would also second the notion that "We Built this City" does not belong on this list. One of the worst songs ever.

"Toxic" is one of the greatest hit singles of the past 30 years or so.
Dare I say, it is perfect.

Every Day I Love You Less and Less by The Kaiser Chiefs.
It's a great bit of pop.

Weezer - Hash Pipe
Gary Numan - Metal
Butter 08 - 9mm
Cardigans - Iron Man
The Knack - Siamese Twins (The Monkey And Me)
And this next one really hurts. It really hurts to say that this is a good song.
Bruce Springsteen - Hungry Heart
Would have been a better Ramones song...

I was about to agree with you, but then I thought of that insufferably bland chorus bit and I was like 'oh, never mind'.
Another one, that Batman song that U2 did was cool.
