Are Cubs fans racist? Cubs fans?

I forget who.I have never seen a shirt like this for sale at the former Comiskey Park, nor have I seen it on a single swinging dick walking around the concourse. The moment I do, I will dig up this thread. I found a variation of the shirt in Cardinal red that says "Zambrano Mows My Lawn". Likewise, there is a "Pujols Mows My Lawn" shirt.

Who was the last non-producing White Sox star-caliber player to get severely booed at Comiskey? I never heard anybody boo David Wells or Ken Griffey, Jr. I never heard anybody boo Jim Thome during the first half of the 2008 season when I thought he had lost his bat speed and he was hovering around .220 at best.Just a thought. Not really related to the race issue.

Milton certainly isn't playing that well in Chicago. He hasn't even hit 32 yet, the Bill James age for performance regression. I wouldn't be surprised if his numbers pick back up the second he winds up in Kansas City or Toronto.Whether or not the racism charge is true, it would seem that there is something about the atmosphere at Wrigley Field that has fucked with Milton Bradley. I don't know if he's been hurt at all, but his performance will likely improve substantially with a new team and less vocal bleacher bums. Clearly, he's an emotional guy.And horry kow, he's not performing criminally poorly, either.

Are Cubs fans racist? No.But, as opposed to Sox fans, Cubs fans are far more likely to be suburban, and north suburban at that, which means Cubs fans are far more likely to not live anywhere near nonwhite people, which means a Cubs fan is far more likely than a Sox fan to act like a racist/classist douche on his trip to the distant, alien city. That's just the way it is. Doesn't mean "Cubs fans are racists", but it does mean a random Cubs fan is more likely to like stuff like this:Funny brown people and their lawn mowers!-r
