I always liked to think they were NC but when it comes down to it, there are maybe two or three good songs in their entire discography. 'Touch Me I'm Sick' and 'Into the the Drink' are great. I want to vote NC but that doesn't really justify it. So much toilet overall.

The story behind 'Run Shithead Run' is hilarious. Otherwise, CRAP high waffles.

They're still better than Slint.

I just received a drunken phone call from Ace, and I would just like to print a retraction of my Mudhoney bashing comment.

I judge uneven albums harshly, but their sound really clicked with me a couple months ago. I should dig up a compilation of the early 7-inches.

I got March To Fuzz for Christmas a long time ago, and have been listening to Disc 1.

I guess this makes me a flip-flopper. Anya and Clocker Bob should be thrilled.

Also, I like Slint more than I like Mudhoney. Apples and oranges, right?

PAGING VOCKINS!

Please, please tell us the story of DJ Bile Colostomy Bag, whom we met back in 1992 when we went with him to see Mudhoney in Charlottesville, Va.

"Dude- Are you OK? Did you blow your bag?"

Even if he chooses not to tell the story, this setup made me laugh uncontrollably for a minute and a half.

Salut!

what he said.

March to Fuzz is a nice enough compilation.

I saw them a few months ago and they played one of the best shows I've ever seen. I also got to meet Mark and Steve later on that night and they were very friendly people.

They're definitely much better live than on recording.
