Watch out wit us Chicago guys! Youze know what we fill dem potholes wit, don'tcha? Yeah buddy, that's right, we fill em wit cheeseheads. Dat's why we gotta keep fixin em and fillin em all da time... cause youze guyses are so soft!

Why don't you go to the Dells and ride the ducks, alright dere buddy? Yeah, I said it. Dells. Ducks. Enjoy yourself, guy.

I'm gonna go to the printer tomorrow and make up a batch of 1000 bumper stickers that say "KeithV is really Tommy Bartlett". And I'll put em on Chicago cars. Cause why put em on cheesehead cars when none youze can read anyhow?

I actually have facial hair right now, but it is not groomed. It's more of a "I ain't shaved none and I don't care right now" growth...

Speaking of growths, I saw a man today who had a goiter the size of a pumpkin, lemme tell ya'...

I gotta work at the warehouse in the morning, but then I got three days o' vacation. I will spend it fishing, no doubt, if the weather improves. Lotta rain the last few days, which will help the water levels, but the fish might still be a little goofy from it.

I once worked, during my college years, at the distribution plant for Usingers Sausage. It was a good time and I had various forms of sausage for lunch EVERY DAY! http://www.usingers.com

The stock car races here in town (Slinger, WI) got rained out last night. It's the end of the year, but they have an enduro scheduled for next Sunday. See http://www.slingersuperspeedway.com for more information.

One of the cats just took a shit in da' litterbox. It smells like a mix between burning rubber and cat shit.

According to Big Black, Tommy Bartlett died in pain. Most likely during a botched waterski jump.

The whole Dells area, including Devils Lake, was once considered for a National Park before capitalism and disposable crap took over. It's actually a beautiful area. Illinois, on the other hand, has virtually no beautiful areas. The border area just south of Lake Geneva, WI isn't so bad, but everything else I seen in dat state is shit!

I will admit that Indiana is a worse state than Illinois, but that ain't saying much...

So great.

So great.

It sounded like there was five guitar players onstage.

I don't know how a man sings like that for an entire set.

So great.

I laughed out loud many, many times.

So great.

Except Uzeda. They were better than EVERYBODY this weekend!!

It completely blew my mind. Total system overload on all levels: irony, humor, crazy boating-on-Riviera-bass-player, slaying.

Yep. Uzeda wins for me.

And about 14 others bands were a CLOSE second.

While I think Ike exaggerates slightly, for me Uzeda certainly were the most pleasant surpriuse of the weekend -- I was absolutely jaw-droppingly floored by how great they were. Hail Uzeda!

But Killdozer WERE damn good -- with the possible exception of Scratch Acid, they were the reunited band that hit the target most solidly, and they rocked the goddam parking lot. Made me want to crank up LITTLE BABY BUNTIN' on UNCOMPROMIZING WAR ... in the car on the way home (except I was taking the El back to my friend's place).

I had only heard a side or two of 12 Pt. Buck before this weekend. Too plodding and dull, I thought. I didn't even think I would enjoy Killdozer's set much. But enjoy I did, more than any of the other bands at the festival. Michael Gerald's singing was convincing and hilarious. Bill Hobson gave an incredible guitar performance. I think his wildness, falling down, and teeth-picking were even better because of how old he looked. If it hadn't been for this festival, I'd still think that the best thing about Killdozer was "Dan's Kiss Quiz." Which is even funnier now, but not as great as being in a crowd of smiling young men singing along to "Richard," or hoping against hope that Michael Gerald will get hit by a bouncing inflatable penis, or that the man in question is a tax lawyer.

I bought two CDs. Killdozer is awesome.
