The White Sox are currently 18 games into their longest losing streak in franchise history. They have an excellent chance of winding up with a worse record than the expansion 1962 Mets.

Maybe Reinsdorf will use this season to convince the public with hat in hand that they need to finance his proposed stadium development plan.

The Brewers just clinched the NL Central. What a fine season considering expectations. I am really curious to see how they roll in the post-season this time out – something feels different, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Rumor has it Dave Sims might leave the Mariners booth to do radio for the Yankees. I hope that doesn't happen.

This is the time where I start to get sad about not hearing my favourite announcers calling games any more soon.
Something about the melancholy of fall with the sadness of the regular season ending. Sigh.
