Any news on how is Fiona doing?

I don't have an opinion because I've only heard like one or two songs. But I will say TFS is on a short list of some of the worst band names I've ever heard.

Went to youtube, checked 3 or 4 videos.

It sounded awful and pretentious in exactly the way I loathe.

Her treatment got extended to April of next year. I hope she comes out on the winning side of all this. Looks like the gofundme is rapidly meeting its goal.

Saw them play a stellar show tonight. What a great band!

New album is great, but I wish Lauren’s drum sound was better. She’s a beast of a drummer, but it’s always subdued on the recordings.

Saw them a while back out here and it was fantastic. They are a really fun band to watch. Every single person on stage looked like they were having a blast. Been a while since I seen a sound guy crank a space echo to the mix.

Have seen them many times - they can be a force of nature when they are on form. Latest album starts great but then just tapers out - a shame. Nothing to hold onto there for me. Braindrops is a fantastic record - their high water mark imo - a wild ride

Went and saw them on Wed night. Bad show. Sound was fucking awful, band was noticeably unhappy with their monitors and the vocal mics were squealing every time they touched a mic. About half way through the show the guitar dude got extra noodley and I took it as him just saying "fuck it". Still, some of it was still pretty good. Weird experience cause it is the same venue I saw them in a few months ago and it sounded fantastic. Oh well.

I wish them well, but I’ve given a few albums a chance and there hasn’t been anything that’s grabbed my attention or stuck in my head as being memorable. Angular discordant guitars (normally something I very much enjoy) and a lack of melody. Just a bit boring really.
