I can't say enough good things about this. Ideally, you want to play it at a full 5 players, and accept it's going to take half of your day. Lean into the horrors of the negotiations and the carpetbagging. It is an incredible experience.
This preview offers a great summing up, if you're keen to know more.

Great game. Played at 3 but think it would be even more cut-throat at 4.
Lost by six dollars. Fucks sake.

My wife and I ended up playing "Lords of Waterdeep" with some friends, and I was surprised by how fun it was, I was even more surprised by how much my wife liked it; we ended up buying a copy the next day, and have, naturally, been unable to take it up again because our lives are miserably busy with kids and trying to scrape by in a late-stage capitalist hellscape.

I recently played For the Queen. It's a really simple role-playing game with it's own cards. It's conversational and the game takes like 30-45 minutes to play. If you like role-playing games, but can't find the time, it's pretty awesome.
