Trust me, you have a lot of us standing in solidarity with you.

Also, if chemo is making everything you eat taste like car parts in a trash compactor: Shrimp or scallops agli olio. It will taste pretty damn close to the Before Times. Peach or oreo milkshakes, too. You might just find some 7 layer dips you like, too.

DM me if you need anything.

Man sorry to hear that but thank you. Chris loves pasta agli olio (who doesn’t) so that’s a great suggestion

It's almost two years since I lost a good friend and former band mate to cancer. Burn in hell, cancer, you malevolent motherfucker.

This week was the one year anniversary of my BFFs death. Hard to believe that it's been a year already. I'm at that point where I've accepted I'll never see her again, but I also like to imagine she's still out there in some way, keeping an eye on us. I've kept in touch with her husband and family, and have done what little I can to be sympathetic and supportive. The grave marker was finally installed at the cemetery, so I now have a "place" where I can go visit her. But, my life isn't and won't ever be the same again, without that link to my past, our past, our shared history.

When cancer wins, it's brutal.

11 years now, since my initial diagnosis.

Celebrating by cleaning the house, cuddling my cats, and just being.
