+ 1 on the Dead. I don't get it, any of it, not a speck.

Slint.
To this day they make zero sense to me,
Most displeasures I am far from guilty about, but this one always comes to mind as an aberration. I've tried for decades, I don't get the hubbub.

I've tried to get into the Grateful Dead as well, and yeah, I don't get it. But it don't like jam bands, so it fits.
I don't like a lot of sci-fi/fantasy stuff. I've never watched a Star Trek episode or seen any of the movies. I've never seen Game of Thrones, from what I hear it sounds complex and I'm reluctant to dive in to something like that.
I do like the original Star Wars trilogy, and the Lord of the Rings movies were good, though I had no interest in seeing The Hobbit.

Ditto on the horror stuff, it's pretty boring in the main.
And LOTR - first two were OK, but when I watched that third one it just pissed me off that it was so long. Seemed very unnecessary - overblown and self indulgent.
I also don't see the fascination with superhero/marvel type movies.

I love ‘77-‘81 post-punk to pieces and have yet to hear a single note of Killing Joke’s music that I have enjoyed.
Despite liking quite a bit of the music of Gram Parsons, I do not enjoy Sweetheart Of The Rodeo at all.
I also don’t find any of the Dave Chappell specials from the last five years to be particularly funny.

I used to like the Marvel movies. 20 years ago when the Sam Raimi Spiderman and Bryan Singer X-Men movies came out, it was more exciting, they were event movies. But now I've lost interest, it's either a reboot or a spinoff or a sequel. I thought Black Panther was good, though.

I'm told I should love The Big Lebowski. Fuck knows why.

Huh. I’m not sure I can trust anyone that doesn’t love Lebowski from beginning to end.

I feel the same way, but I like the idea that I've actually heard of someone disliking it because, well, it's never happened before.
