...and I told him it was rad. A couple months later we were horsetrading where I built him an amp in exchange for him building me a different guitar (Esquire with a TV Jones Powertron). He determined that trade was uneven and surprise sent me the Esquire AND a plank guitar.

Now I kinda want to build a plank bass with a single Ric bridge pickup on it and no tone or volume control. Plank headstock also.
