55So like Turnstile I went had a listen to their first album and the two preview tracks of the new album.
Unlike Turnstile it’s perfectly decent music. Kind of 80s/90s “college rock”. Definitely something I’d want my kids getting into because they might start looking into their inspiration.
Honestly they could have released their first album in 1992 and I wouldn’t have known the difference.

59In my limited exposure to Turnstile I’m saying “311 meets the less good Suicidal Tendencies catalog”. A deeper dive into Turnstile may reveal apt comparisons with other bland ostensibly aggressive music, but I’m not gonna bother.
