If he had stolen vast amounts of it, he might wanna brag.

Also, stealing internet porn? wtf?
But also I think the relevant question in your case is: What kind of porn was it?
I once had a "no holds barred", non-sober discussion with a woman friend of mine who is very open about everything, and this topic was broached (in both directions, actually). At the time there did not appear to be any hurt feelings, but I felt like garbage afterwards. It's a bad idea.

If I may ask, why?

Bit-torrents. It was years ago.

I never asked.

In HS I would attend NAMM conferences as a worker. At the time my best friend's dad's company rented plants and flowers to convention venues, so we'd set-up the show and afterwards get to walk around meeting all the metal/rock muckety-mucks. Perhaps it's my age but as much as I appreciate experimentation I'm a melody guy when all is said and done. Are the first few solo Ozzy records metal by their own right, or only through his connection with Sabbath? What kind of metal is Savatage? Can I like B.C. Rich Metal?

Erf, well if you start getting into specifics into what turns you on (which might be some fetishy stuff - not illegal mind you) with someone who you know platonically, that's not exactly a cat that can be put back into the bag. It can put thoughts into the other person's head about what their next sexual partner might be expecting or judging them on. I don't know if I can be any more specific than that. Some might think that could be a good thing. In this specific case, it wasn't.

(Again, it was a two-way discussion.)

I see. If it harmed your relation or made some trouble for her with partners later on then I understand, that's too bad. I was only thinking of the possible morning-after cringe factor.

"Well, this is what I like, which explains why our relationship is just platonic."

Anyway, sorry for hijacking thread. Back to discussion about metal.

I like Gwar.

I like Gwar.
I saw them a few weeks ago. I went mostly for the opening bands: Negative Approach, X-Cops, and Cancer Christ. All the bands were entertaining. Gwar covered AC/DC's "If You Want Blood (You Got It)" at the end, and the titular substance was sprayed on the audience.

In regards to the metal question, I guess I veer more towards thrash since I love bands like Slayer and Power Trip.

I like In Flames. But not bands that sound like In Flames. I have no interest in discovering them or giving them a chance. Just In Flames

I also like some Blind Guardian.

While it all about King Diamond?

When it fades to set the stage for "Growth" at the very end of Women And Children First is the unsung metal chug. Supposedly, they kicked around the idea of it also kicking off Fair Warning but it didn't take. Bummer.

I think for bands from their scene/locale I prefer At the Gates. As for this sound, hen I hear this song- especially the croon to croak to scream transition- I'd rather hear some heavy, latter day Deftones.
