My mobile phone provider called to offer me a move of my £10 a month pay as you go to a 24 month contract for £12 a month for “more stuff”. It all sounded good until I asked about price increases…

“Yes, there will be prices increases and a reduction of the extras you signed up for as time goes on….”

“Why am I signing up to this…?”

“Everything gets more expensive and with lower extras as time goes on…”

“It doesn’t if I stick to my £10 non contract…”

Silence.

No one has ever had a good meal at Pizza Hut. I have had Pizza Hut since the 70s, it's always sucked, even when it was the best thing available.

But, that dude is fascinating. I feel like I have seen him before. Maybe in a nightmare, or maybe I think he's Tilda Swinton. His lips don't move enough when he speaks. I'm almost obsessed.

I don't know how he says "Pizza Hut" so many times without bursting into laughter.

I just looked, out of curiosity, and I can't figure out where this to access this feature. I'd never use it. Also, it doesn't appear you can message just anyone (has to be an accepted contact), so like spam doesn't seem like it'll be a thing here, but who am I kidding.

One thing we can predict for sure is that any established "tech" (by that I mean software, I suppose) will go to shit.

One pretty common office joke at Discogs was “Discogs Dating Service”, because of the eagerness* with which men would respond to any interaction with a seemingly female user or customer service rep.

Just to give you one idea of where this may be headed, aside from the obvious one (selling marketing space to labels and artists).

I don't even want my dipshit friends knowing what I'm listening to. I followed people who made awesome playlists on Spotify, and there was no interaction needed. I imagine this is an attempt to soften the blow for some kind of profile subscription model - you wanna listen to this person's playlists? That's premium tier.

Probably has something to do with scouring any personal info or contacts in your device, to be exploited and sold
