28... and already feeling like a grumpy old man. Well, except when I'm watching Iron Chef, then I'm all young again.

I just turned 27.

A young, immature 27 at that.


Here's me at 50:

--sucking on an oxygen tank, more than likely

--discussing the "old days" much like that Creme Brulee fella in A League of Gentlemen. I sort of do this now, actually. Oh, and giving old copies of my "rock band's big album" away for free.

--feeding horses somewhere in ND.

--appalled that my kids don't want to attend the same state school I did.

--still dealing with ringing in my ears.

Other than that, I see myself pretty much as my dad, but thinner.

A friend was talking w/an older guy, maybe sixty - a real character, and once a serious ladies' man. Looking back on his life & his regrets, he told my friend: "I wish I'd had more anal sex." He also told him about one of his proudest moments: he took his girl to a Jimi Hendrix concert, and she ended up going home with Jimi.
