They're a very odd bunch.
When they started, they reminded me of stuff like Boyracer and Beatnik Filmstars.
Now they're not like either of those bands.
Salut Hood

Beatnik Filmstars! I had forgotten!

The Tank lads are alright! With or without proper guitars or hats.
But I've to object to the claim that they are (Little) Britain's best band, I'm totally convinced that Judas Priest is better, innit?

I second that.

Thirded!!! Cardiacs are my favourite band ever!

I interviewed Tim Smith and Kavus Torabi earlier in the year. It was one of the highlights of my entire life.

I know both gentlemen from back in my band days; they are delightfully eccentric! I should imagine that Kavus imagines that all his proverbial Christmases have come at once now that he's rocking with the 'Acs!

Yeah, that's the impression I got. He's really living the dream. New Cardiacs album out later this year, also Duh Vuh Duh release of Mare's Nest on the cards at some point.

A live recording of the 2003 Garage gigs of early material should be coming out too I believe.

If anyone is interested in coming to this gig and doesn't live anywhere near Bletchley, mk, and are concerned where the hell it is, i will happily send information on Directions and maybe some brucey bonuses. Like a cd mix tape of some of the local bands on the lineup. It would be great to see out of towners at this event.
