Good god their last album (the one with this song on it) sucks. Sooo bad. I got on board when the Rome EP came and out loved everything up until this last one, which is *terrible.* I even hate the sound, the mix, etc.

I saw these guys on a whim in 99. Good gawd was that a great show. Fire. Running in the street. Yes.

I'm listening to them again because my buddy Perrapatetaticlsdfiojs suggested I do so. So far:

3/5 is a good pop record.

The Cat & The Cobra used to be my favorite thing in the world. It has not stood the test of time. It sounds like atypical, stupid indie rock.

ROME is still PERFECT. All killer, no filler.

Go Forth is still terrible.

I never heard this Inches comp but WOW. I like almost every song on here (except for the live tracks C'MON NOW)

I am "digitally sampling" Let's Stay Friends. No opinion yet.

Inches, Go Forth, ROME (upside down) ep. Those are their most essential recordings, IMO.

3/5, The Cat and The Cobra, and Let's Stay Friends all have some great songs (some of their best), but a bit of filler as well.
