So is Tom from Tar... He lives in LA.

I miss them too. I saw them play with Jawbox in LA. I miss Jawbox too. As much as I like Burning Airlines, they just don't compare.

I was at the gym yesterday and they played that Ashlee Simpson song, and it was like I couldn't lift worth crap with that thing playing. That one song "On a Wednesday, I go douching..."

It's the song they play at the end credits of a chick flick.

I seriously gots to get a ipod shuffle and put some death metal on it. Now that's lifting music. Heck, even Opeth won't make my muscles go flaccid like this Simpson chick... I think Tar would be good lifting music.

Helmet is good for wiping out on a mountain bike... I keed... I keed... those guys are great.

More or less, he owns a couple of bars in Minneaolis, "Grumpy's". The Melvins played at the downtown one a few months ago. Decent drinking holes.

I just watched Tar's video from vol. 1 of 'Dope Guns'n fucking up your deck' for "Les Paul Worries." Great song and tasteful video, considering their budget. A few of those videos were pretty ingenuous; the King Snake Roost one stood out in my mind.

Hazelmyer runs a bar and his OX-OP gallery in Minneapolis, and from what i hear gets a lot of visitors from the AmRep days to come back and play for him. I'll be heading up there in a month, i'm hoping i'll be able to catch something there. I hear shannon selberg is tending the bar...

Dr. Sphincter's thing on racism had me laughing out loud! I think you can see some clips on you tube, no?
