I'm being bought two new LPs for fathers day. I thought I'd get something that hasn't been on my wishlist at all, something new, some records by bands I've never heard of before.
Can someone recommend something along the lines of;
US Maple
What Burns era Don Caballero
Storm and Stress
Cheer Accident
You Fantastic
Stars of the lid
Labradford
Everlovely Lightningheart
Guapo
Supersilent
etc
It doesn't have to sound specifically like any of those bands, but something with interesting guitars and drums. I need a drum and guitar fix along the lines of US Maple badly and I've also been looking for some perfect ambient-esque post whatever music for a while too.
