Waiting for my COVID test result in the Narita Airport quarantine area.

Negative test result means I can enter the country and proceed with my business trip.

Positive test result means… quarantine hotel, then I assume sent home without completing my business here. And someone’s out several thousand dollars.

Travel is way more stressful than it was before.

I can't bring myself to bore you with it, but I wish it were that straightforward. It's down to total incompetence at every end other than my own, and immensely frustrating.

I will watch the season premiere this weekend after returning from Japan.. no spoilers!

As tedious as audiophiles can be, I’m going to check out Axpona this weekend.

My hypothesis: colonoscopy prep is intentionally miserable so that having a camera jammed up your butt doesn't seem so bad in comparison.

Oof. I had this done a couple of years ago. It wasn’t so bad in the end, and I hope the examination works out well for you. I chugged quite happily on laughing gas throughout.
