I wasn't prepared for how good Righteous Gemstones is. Just when I think it's 'too much' Danny McBride typical content it switches it up - John Goodman's best performance

Black Mirror season 6. I've seen the first 3 episodes ("Joan Is Awful", "Loch Henry", "Beyond the Sea"), but not yet 4 and 5 ("Mazey Day" and "Demon 79"). As always, it's a mixed bag. So far, the standout is "Beyond the Sea". "Loch Henry" doesn't really work but has some truly great moments. "Joan Is Awful" is kind of a head-scratcher, and not in a good way, although it was nice to see Rich Fulcher and Michael Cera in small roles.
SPOILER
I did like Joan is Awful quite a lot. My favorite part of it is that they solved the "problem" of the life-shredding "Netflix" show by...unsubscribing from Netflix.
Joan is Awful was great, Loch Henry was OK, Beyond the Sea I liked until I realized it was going to be a violent ending. I was hoping they would explore the idea of identity more. Have not yet seen 4 and 5 but will soon.

Just started the first episode of THE OLD MAN on Hulu last night, and based off that it's Jeff Bridges as Senior Citizen John Wick. Totally down to see where it goes from here!

Anyone else notice Hulu is showing movies that have been edited for TV? I have a ad-free subscription and realized I hadn't watched a movie on it in a little while. I started watching the horrific Grownups movie, and noticed a fade to black every 8-10 minutes and the swears were dubbed out! No commercials, just fade out and back again awkwardly.

Telemarketers on Max is good. And while it's a slight spoiler alert, as always: ACAB.

Kind of a misnomer, the title. Couldn't have been that great a hoax, no one I know nor myself has ever heard of them.
As for what I'm watching, the newest season of Party Down (Hulu) is pretty good. Hits all those original notes with a little more story. Fun stuff.
Silo on Apple TV seems like dumb fun with a slight sci-fi edge that ticks the conspiracy boxes alright.
