Really rooting for Wisconsin to vote for Protasiewicz.

I'm going to take a wait-and-see-and-hope-for-the-best approach with the Chicago mayor. Not trying to downplay the position of Chicago mayor, but all things considered there seems to be a much clearer and stark upside vs. downside with the Wisconsin supreme court election.

Oh certainly, but this race has brought a lot of national attention largely due to abortion rights, and Dan Kelly is a Scott Walker era leftover who was already voted out 2 years ago. Based on the nearly 2 to 1 Democrat/Republican turnout (we can probably do away with the 'non partisan election' qualifier at this point, get real) in the primary things are looking alright. At least I fuckin' hope so :?

I'm actually more interested in the supreme court throwing out those awful district maps!! It's an atrocity that the state houses in Wisconsin are so overwhelmingly republican (when the democrats can win a statewide election)...

Yes. More evidence that they believe in nothing.

The party of family values and law and order has a cultish devotion to Trump who is a flaming bag of dog poop on that country door step.

Johnson ahead of Vallas by about 7,000 votes with 92% reporting. I doubt this will be called tonight. [EDIT: wow, late votes really skewed towards Johnson and now he’s projected to win!]

Positive note: looks like the liberal supreme court candidate in Wisconsin won!!

Yep Protasiewicz won pretty easily thank jebus. I just wish people would read/research the down ballot referendums a little better, I'm pretty sure the majority who turned out are not cool with fleecing poor people but that's what they voted for..

It should be no surprise that Dan Kelly is a cunt. “It brings me no joy to say this: I wish that in a circumstance like this, I would be able to concede to a worthy opponent,” he said. “But I do not have a worthy opponent to which I can concede.” haha you've lost twice in a row, you're worthy of nothing more than joining Derp Walker at Camp Jesus for Kids or whatever the fuck he does now.

Brandon Johnson holy shit!! The very first headline I read about it was from Bloomberg: Pro Business Tax candidate wins. Hahaha fuck off, but pretty indicative of the wild ride this will be.
