Man, I keep finding ways to not get around to listening to the last Shellac album. Like, I have a dumb situation for listening to music right now. No actual stereo, gotta rip and transfer to my phone, barf, etc. But this ^^^^ sentiment is also kinda lurking behind it all too.

This classic Steve Albini and Ian Svenonius on Soft Focus interview has recently been reuploaded.

It makes me very happy to see that Apology Magazine has been reuploading a bunch of Soft Focus videos that were previously made unavailable when Vice moved their video content from VBS.tv to YouTube and haven’t uploaded the majority of Soft Focus episodes on any of the Vice Media YT channels. I can’t believe it’s been over a decade since I’ve seen this interview and over a year since we've lost Steve.

There's some good Steve interview footage in the new Failure doc streaming, including some clips from Pachyderm swinging a microphone from the ceiling.

Pretty decent but standard music doc otherwise. Their original drummer was an FM here at one point.

I added this in another thread but probably should go here.

Fugazi just officially released the Steve Sessions for In On the Killtaker with profits going to Letters to Santa.

Some tracks a definitely better than the final release, others not. It’s fantastic it’s now out in the world.
