I was thinking, since the BBB got passed... that Trump has set an interesting precedent that future presidents can ignore and overwrite previous administration policies on their own and ignore congress. I surely hope (but not holding my breath) that the next President nullifies all of this. A boy can dream, I guess. Maybe if enough people are suffering in a year or three, we might see this happen? I dunno, the cats out of the bag, it feels like it's gonna take at least a generate to recover from this. So, I don't expect much other than to die penniless despite being a normal person with a decent job and trying to save for retirement.

I'd love to return to Split. It has been 23 long years.

I don't think any of this is about setting precedents, it's about seizing power. And that shit has officially gone down, so taking it back has gotta be more than just trying to vote in a new administration. Dreams are a good place to start, let's see where we can get some action.

Yes, I think a whole generation or two of progress is now completely lost and our politics are more broken than ever until we get back in leaders that actually care about democracy, and I'm talking about both parties here. Things are going to get much worse still before they get better. I fear that it will take the death of Trump to break this spell, and that could be another 20 years because ghouls like Trump seem to live longer than those that do good. It'll take awhile for all the other old farts to die off. I just wonder how much suffering we're going to endure before there's outright rebellion. The shit that's going on now, most people aren't going to feel for like another 5-10 years. I used to think it was hyperbole to consider that the states would try to succeed, but since the constitution means dick all, I can see this happening in my lifetime. The courts are a joke, congress is weak, the presidency is now an ultimate power. There's really no going back, because the solution requires courage of our elected and appointed leaders, which they obvious don't have collectively.

Please strike me dead if he's living to 100. The other ghouls in his orbit lack charisma and are likely pedophiles.

I think that Cuomo was the Democratic establishment's favored candidate tells all you need to know about it. The "resistance"? Chuck Schumer's got a hot tip on some stock...

So, an honest question...
If he does not call for the next elections or really does not step down after a loss? And if there is a new election in US, he will lose.
What then?

Good question. We're so far into uncharted waters, I would guess that another insurrection would happen. Except, they'd probably be successful, because literally no one is stopping the Administration from doing anything, even when they lose in court.

The good news is that Cuomo should be done for good. The bad news is those same people are eyeing Rahm Emanuel
