My explanation: A huge mass pushes down on beams weakened by burning fuel tanks used for backup generators, while the severely overtaxed firefighters are too busy saving people to tend to basement fires. But I don't want to be involved in this discussion anyway. I'm more bothered by the things done now in the names of those who did die. It's painful to watch rights slip away (I'm a Canadian, but it'll hit me too, sooner than later), people shipped off to Guantanamo for indefinite terms, and these ridiculous wars that are helping very very few.
And yes, I expect the commanders to flee, at least from nearby skyscrapers. They have phones, and you don't see that many generals on battlefields. How could they be certain that another plane wouldn't hit (I'm not too familiar with the geometry of the trade centers, I'll admit)? And when did the fire spread to WTC7? Oh right, when 'they' set it. Never mind.

There are definitely a ton of questions around 9/11, and even what Chomsky says about it, but when the Truth movement promotes itself with this kind of documentary I really think they don't do themselves any favours.
The expression 'the medium is the message' springs to mind.

No, highlighting the double standard in some of what he says is a fair thing to do in my eyes - but I already thought that.
I have a beef with the flaws in quality with most (if not all) of these videos because I presume they are created with the aim of 'spreading the word'. However because of the manner of presentation they're as likely to make many people scoff as look further.
You would consider that a flaw of the audience, and I couldn't completely disagree really, but if the intent is to send a message to the unaware then at least do it well in your chosen medium - is what I would say.

The full twenty minute interview with Barry Jennings about his experience in WTC7 on the morning of 9/11/01: WTC7 partially evacuated, huge explosions and damage, corpses strewn across parts of the building. All before either Twin Tower was demolished.
This means that all the existing preposterous official explanations for the demolition of WTC7 can now be discarded. The timeline of that building's destruction began before there were fires or debris from WTC1 in the vicinity.

dang, your summary of the video content is way off base. how the fuck did you come to the above conclusions based on what the guy said in the interview? i shall now return to ignoring your posts, safe in the knowledge that i'm not missing anything.
