I am now the owner of a pop-up book tour of Graceland, thanks to the company Holiday Party last night. I've left it out for the kids to discover today. There won't be much left of it tonight.

he's not a boss, he's a new short boss. however subtle, there is a difference. he's so awkward it's bizarre; and it's bizarre because he tries soooo hard to do the "right" thing, whatever he thinks that is.

i'm taking an uncomfortable situation over which i have little control and trying to make it at least entertaining. i could quit, yes, but in my current position i enjoy lots of perks/fringe bennies i would not otherwise have, or it'd take me years to get back.

if you don't like the new short boss posts, or any of mine, skip them. better yet, some forums have an "ignore" feature. maybe you should research that and put me on your ignore list.

i went to pay some bills and saw a guy spending 500+ bucks in a lotery ticket. that was a few hours ago and i'm still in "wtf mode".
